ahahahaha.. i'm back..
went to warped on thursday.. which was pretty good i would say. Atreyu and Bleeding Through rocked my world. I moshed for pretty much all of Atreyu but i still got to enjoy the music which was really cool. Afterwards, i was standing in the crowd, waiting of My Chemical Romance because Kristie wanted me to.. and the exhaustion and heat hit me and i blacked out. i was cool though.. i got taken out.. sat for a little to relax myself and then ran into Justine with John so i hung out with her for a while before they left. i stayed to enjoy the rest of the bands. Opiate For The Masses was pretty good. Bleeding Through was great as i before mentioned. they were one of the few true metal bands playing there so of course they stood out to me. Bullet For My Valentine was a good new prospect i never heard before.. i thought they were really good. saw the Transplants before we left, just to see Barker play with an actual band. he was extremely good.. he was all over the place. there's something i just like about that band for some reason, can't put my finger on it. we saw a bunch of other ones too of lesser importance to me. i really wanted to see Underoath and Avenged Sevenfold but i didn't know when Underoath was playing and we didn't have anything left at the end of the day to make our way to the front for Avenged so we said fuck it and made our way back. on the way out we ran into the drummer and vocalist for Atreyu, Brandon Saller. thats was awesome, i got to shake his hand and talk to him for a little and Wade got his autograph which was cool. all-in-all a pretty fucking good day..
i forget what i did on friday.. haha.. my brilliant memory.. i'm working on it..
saturday i worked.. then i went over to dustin's for a change of pace and hung out with the old crew.. drank.. shot the shit.. realized i'm better at playing pool when i'm intoxicated, which is useful information i'm sure. got some good stuff for once but it was gone before i knew it. i'm kind of sad that my clean-bid did last longer than two weeks but it was entertaining while it did.. oh well.
sunday is a blur as well.. i know i worked for 12 hours, the amazing work-horse that i am.. pppfff..
today i worked for like 4 hours until they cut the power to work on a transformer. i went to a semi-surprise b-day party for my friend kristy.. then went to the mall AGAIN because they wanted to go.. i refuse to be a mallrat at all costs. i had fun causing trouble though and ran into friends so it wasn't a loss of any kind.. and here i am. i think i'm gonna get back into some serious shape and back in contention.. and it'll be nice to be in top condition for new band prospects. my voice is coming along extremely well so its going to be interesting. i'm not sure where to look though. it would be kind of nice to meet a totally new group of people so i should see if there's some sort of forum for this.. hhhmmm. i had some alone time with a drum set today which was fun.. basically went crazy, worked on beats and bass and stuff, and just fucked around.. fun. its good as a frontman to gain a knowledge of what each member does in order to appreciate the band as a whole.. and to see where they're coming from. i enjoy it. i don't think i'm going back to guitar any time soon though. i want vocals and my wrists are rather messed up so that would not help.. either way i'm still me so i'll have an awesome time where ever i end up..
