I am so sick to death of this!
I am so sick to death of being forced to be caught up in and inbetween Matty and Dee and their petty greivances with each other.
I have asked them both very politely and firmly to not discuss each other with me, as I refuse to take sides, but neither of them seem to be content with my sitting on the fence and both seem determined to topple me over to the other side.
It is getting to the point where it is really beginning to stress me out, and I refuse to be pushed any further in either direction.
Dee is my cousin and I love her dearly, we share a closeness that is quite wonderful and is very precious to me.
Matty and I also share a wonderful connection, I find it hard to explain, but he really does feel like my little brother and I cherish his friendship too.
I will not be forced by Dee to end my friendship with Matty, as for all of the most dasterdly and horrible things he has ever done to her, in the end they are just words. He has said some nasty things to her and about her when he has felt angry, but they are his truths and he has a right to express them, as we as his listeneners and or readers have a right to take them on or dismiss them. I do really appreciate that Matty respects me enough to not discuss his feelings about Dee to me in person and I have the choice of whether I wish to read his journal postings or not, and as they are his private feelings I choose not to judge them even if I don't share them. Let's face it if he had written those poems about any one else but my dear cousin they would be really funny.
Dee on the other hand has openly asked me to take her side and end my freindship with Matty, and although she has backed off on that idea, she still seems to manage to throw poisonous darts about Matty in my direction.
Let's get real here for a moment, they only went out with each other for what 5 weeks? Not exactly the romance of the century, and most of the time that they were seeing each other they seemed to be fighting and totally incapable of openly and freely communicating with each other. They are both wonderful people, but don't work well as a combination, so I think it's about time they just got over it and moved on.
They have both been dating other people, but something seems to still link them emotionally, maybe they are not as over each other as they think?
Perhaps they should get together again? I mean this dead horse still seems to be getting a massive whalloping, jump on guys and see if you can get it to trot!

If I hear anything else about Dee and Matty in the same sentence, anything else from Dee about Matty or Matty about Dee I swear I will scream and tear my hair out!
