Brrrrrr!
It has been sooo cold today!
I think the cold has contributed to my short temper. I have been very grumpy all day.
Had the most wonderful surprise phone call this morning from Talis, he is back home in Adelaide after 15 months of cavorting about in Victoria, and his return is very timely and very welcome indeed. We are going to catch up in person in the next week, and I look forward to that very much.
I went to Kylie's new house today, it is really lovely. I had visions of helping her clean up her old place and moving gear to the new one etc..but in truth I didn't really do much. I did set up her computer for her and get ytunnel running properly for her, and she seemed pretty happy with that, so I guess it's all good.
I have not been able to shake this cold feeling all day...I feel like I am morphing into an icicle!...I am shut away in my little office now with the heater on high and some warm food and hot doffee in my belly, so hopefully I will start to thaw soon enough. I am a bit worried, because feeling cold usually heralds gettting sick for me, and I really can't afford to get sick again so soon, I need optimum health to get them to perform the surgery I need on my leg.
So I will continue to use every method I know to get warm, and then stay warm, and will dose up on all my multi-vitamins and minerals and vitamin C.
I think tonight might be an early one...a quiet one in any case.
