The ultimate mother...
Hi everyone! I just got some fantastic news and it inspired me to make a new set. My sister is having a baby boy! So, I wanted to do a tribute to mothers and who is the ultimate mother? Madonna...no not the pop star! I'm talking about the Virgin Mary. I'm fascinated by imagery of the Virgin and Child, and I'm not even Catholic! I scanned many of these images in from my Northern Renaissance text book and the rest came from a book of prayer cards. Take and enjoy and I love to hear feedback!

#3 is actually Mary as Mother of Sorrows and not a Virgin and Child image. I don't know why you'd care but I just wanted to be accurate for any experts out there. ;)
