Good news comes in batches...
I had a couple of reasons to squee over the past couple of days.
First of all: yesterday, I found out I received a promotion at The Petulant Poetess. As most of you probably know, I've been a full-fledged admin over there for the past year. Yesterday, I was upgraded to Level 2 Admin. Thanks much, ladies! It's truly an honour to work with such a wonderful group of people! ♥
Secondly: this morning, I received an email from the church treasurer. Two great pieces of news: 1.) My music budget will be tripled, which means I'll be able to focus on expanding the choral repertoire and replace books and other resources that have been falling apart; 2.) I am getting a raise!
It's a wonderful feeling and tells me that the Vestry likes the direction I've taken the music program. Of course, I couldn't do any of it without the support of my wonderful choir members.
They will see one very happy organist when they get to church on Sunday morning. :)
