Vancouver
SO lots of what I've been doing is more about hanging out and catching up with friends than touristy stuff. Also; anime convention, which was fun.
On the more seeing stuff side, we went to Stanley park and took a nice walk around the sea wall. I would have like a trip to the aquarium but my friends don't really have money for that. Might head overmyself one day if they're busy.
For Canada day we had people over, played pandemic (an awesome cooperative board game), made and grilled and ate home made burgesr. We also went to a beach nearby to watch fireworks. Now, there were no fireworks at our location but we could see the north van fireworks AND the downtown fireworks from our practically empty beach. The two shows were actually synchronized and identical, which was ridiculously awesome.
Matt's been visitng for the weekend but unfortunately he goes home this evening.
