4th of July
(work update: my fake job got updated to a dumb job because they started paying me a pittance after I pitched a fit about being used as a free warehouse)
On Sunday, I'm having my annual 4th of July party. What is interesting is all my oldest and best friends aren't coming. But a ton of people I know from only online are. I've never seen their faces. I have no idea what they look like.
This reminds me of being on BBSs in the 90s*, because there were tons of people who were my friends (i'm not putting that in quotes, because they were my friends) who I never met. And we would talk about what it would be like to all meet up.
And now tons (20?) of people I've never met, and I bet haven't met each other, are all going to come over! And eat my hot dogs and salads.
*thinking of being on BBSs in the 90s reminded me of being on Livejournal in the early 2000s, so here I am
