(no subject)
So: my students. I have not had to deal with them for over a week now! Observe the joy. But of course, now they are probably starting to realize that they have a paper due, so I'm waiting for the questions. I am debating if I should send them a reminder, but I'm leaning toward not. They were warned.
So back to real life. I spent an awesome weekend in Houston with Beth, Kathy, Polly, and Drooby. Must. Have. Pet. Kathy's place is most awesome, and best of all, she can have pets. I'm very seriously planning to go look at some of the places that allow pets, and if the price isn't bad and the place is ok, I'm really thinking of moving. I still have the Roost for next year, and all the reasons I didn't do this last year are still in place, but I'm in need of a pet. Really. But anyway, back to the weekend: we kept busy with sight-seeing, and Kathy left us alone in her apartment. Silly Kathy. Beth and I turned her photos upside-down, and made her movies upside-down and in order of color. We also moved a kitchen chair into the bathroom...did we do something else, or are we messing with Kathy? Only Polly knows for sure!
And now I am -- you guessed it -- avoiding work. The assignment for Quant. Paleo is irritating me for a change, so I am concerning myself with other projects. Jennie, if they work, I'll tell you.
