They're very tiny properties, normally in not-so awesome neighborhoods. But louisville has issues with zoning, the nice neighborhoods (250k homes) are in walking distance to the shitty neighborhoods (11k and lower homes) and every once and a while there's a shotgun house for sale.
The median income in this town is very low so that kind of pricing is normal in kinda so-so neighborhoods.
The house needs a little repair (I saw it yesterday afternoon) But all in all it's a nice place, especially for the price. It's the size of a 1bdr and it has a huge yard.
It's accross the street from a car-parts warehouse and there are active commercial train tracks less than 100 yards away.
All that considered, the house is probably worth a little less than 7000 bucks, and I'm sure they're eager to sell. I don't know, I think it's fine for this city. This place is really unique.
