Shadowness no go

Well I tried out Shadowness and after half an hour I don't like it. I submitted two of my pictures and the first comment I got was "I'm not really into the bright colorful thing". That's nice, but as this person failed to notice I put the 'comment but don't critique' warning on my comments that they obviously failed to notice. I don't mind if they're not into my style but please don't share that factoid with me and go look at something they are interested in. Now I would have just thought this one person was a long ass, if it were not for the fact that within fifteen minutes I received three other messages from different people (one was even an admin) that all had similar content, the 'you're art isn't good enough but we're going to tell you in that snide, over pretentious and polite way'.

I really don't like this attitude of people need to tell everyone what is wrong with their art. I have improved greatly in the two and a half years I have been drawing and submitting things to the Internet, and I plan to continue improving. And I have done this without constant criticism, in fact the criticism has done more to put me off then encourage me. What I like is when people discuss the good things about my art, or at the very least when people listen to the warning tags put on comments!
