Hahaha so y'all know how I fell in love with Time is Running Out on the first Muse CD I - um - acquired? (^^;;) Yeah, this song's kind of the equivalent of this CD. Eheh. I got my package from Amazon yesterday - Casino Royale (yay!) and Black Holes & Revelations (YAY!) - which cheered up an an otherwise dismal day. (Patience is a virtue, PB. How many times do you have to remind yourself of this? *facepalm*) But yeah, this song and the one after it rock my socks. It's kind of like Lose Control on the Evanescence CD. As in it has a somewhat simliar underlying sound and tension and makes me think of the same things. COUGH. YEAH. MOVING ON. *abashed grin*
This week is a lot easier (school-wise) than last week was, which makes me glad. No papers due, no huge reading assignments except a play for English, and I don't have Great Books or English on Thursday and Friday, respectively. On the one hand this makes me v sad, as GB is the highlight of my week (and for more reasons than the obvious, really), and since lack of class on Friday really erases any opportunity for breakfast. Sigh. But at least I can rest and relax, which is good after the stresssss that was last week. Yes. V good. And yay, there's Songfest tonight, so I'll get to see Gracie and Kim and Kathryn and them being all awesome. And, you know, him. I heard they're doing Blackbeard or sommat and I was like, "Ohhhh god. If they'll be in the pirate-y outfits with the open shirts and all that... I WILL DIE. I WILL PASS OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE THEATRE. X____X " But they're not. Unfortunately Thankfully. They've got cute little sailor outfits. So that's a relief... sigh.... I'm looking forward to it. =)
Hrmm. We actually started "making music" (as Mr P put it) in choir today - putting in emotion and so on. The Lacrymosa nearly brought me to tears. Srsly. I could feel a lump growing in my throat as we sang, and that was just with a piano. With a full orchestra, in front of an audience - oh dear. I foresee myself (and Anna totally agreed) bursting into tears onstage. I'll be really happy if we move the audience to tears, tho. That'd be really awesomesauce. But seriously... wah. V v v v intense.
What is up with the weather???? It's cold and cloudy one minute, sunny and warm the next, raining the next... wtf mate.
Time for convo. Let's learn what the Book of Proverbs has to say about sex! OH YAY. *shakes head* The things I'm willing to listen to for convo credit......
