Musical geekery and deconsctructive avoidance

Damn, this movie has good music. I suddenly really, really want to watch it again.

...

Yes, I am fully aware that I have a paper on deconstruction to write. Do I look like I give a flying Nazgul? No, ta. Deconstruction is made of evil and I would prefer not to. *sticks out tongue*

***EDIT***
Wahh, listening to the whole soundtrack makes me want to watch it even more. I used to not like "Through Heaven's Eyes" when I was younger, but I actually really do like it now. Heh. Same with "All I Ever Wanted" - I didn't like it years ago, but now it's one of my favorites. The line where Moses says/thinks I am a sovereign Prince of Egypt with that emphasis on "sovereign" and the way the film has him rising all proudly with the tilt of his chin makes me v happy. Mmm awesome music. The score for the scene in which he kills the Egyptian (part of "Goodbye Brother") is also awesome. I love that part, when he flips the eff out: "Oh fuck. Oh shit. Oh Jesus Horus. Oh fuck. *flees*" And Ramses going "WHAT THE FUCK JUST HAPPENED" and racing after him. So awesome. The "The Plagues" just sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it. Good lord. I love the choirs with all their cursing, and Moses and Ramses against each other - the "You who I called brother" said always with such venom, esp from Ramses' side. (Ralph Fiennes, ohyes please.) Aaaaawesome. Why is the library so far from Lovernich? Why? I am so not walking down all the way, but I really want to watch this movie... T__T

Ah well. Soundtrack must suffice. Laziness wins over nerdiness, at least this time. ;)
