You know; once upon a time, when you have a coupon for $25 off $100+ purchase, the cashier could just go: "meh, 98.97- close enough" What makes this a post, though, is the fact that the cashier was kind like: "Gee, it's terrible how you can't use your coupon." Huh what? OK, so she can't override it- but there ARE packs of gum right there... Thus did an overpriced pack of gum net out to -22.50. Usually, when you have this sort of thing; the cashier would actually think "outside the box" enough to think of the closest, cheapest item to cover the difference. The quality of out minimum wage workers have dropped. *sigh*
FYI, I always thought that Sports Authority basically just sold overpriced crappy faux performance material meant for yuppies that want people to THINK they are athletic. Anywho- so somehow a purchase including a pair of reasonable ski boots and other stuff somehow came below 100; whoa.
