Theater Things

Ya know, when a show's set is so large it takes out the front row, it's probably a good idea to let the Box Office Manage know BEFORE the tickets go on sale. Tell them SEVERAL times! We won't mind being reminded!

The director (who I like very much and I am NOT upset with) did tell me that this was a possibility several months ago, but the Board had not voted on it. Normally, I would have put a note into my PDA with the "Ticket's go on sale in 2 weeks reminder", but we talked while I was working the Box Office and I quickly forgot about the request as I was dealing with patrons.

So there is no Row A and tickets have been sold. I'm working on fixing things. I've pulled Rows A & B and will work on matching seats up -- I'll have to explain things to those who work the box. Hopefully I will have the mess cleaned up by Wednesday.

Things like this happen and will again -- if they didn't life would be boring and we wouldn't want THAT to happen!

But on the future -- PLEASE do not expect the Box Office person to remember ANYTHING while they are working a busy show. Emails work nicely. :)
