PORTLAND - In August, Vorpal Space is proud to present “The Incendiary Journey” a collection of paintings
and drawings by Los Angeles artist David Campbell Wilson. The public opening and reception
will be on First Thursday, August 3rd, from 6pm-10pm; it will be shown through August 26th.
Normal gallery hours are by appointment. Further gallery and show information are available on

David Campbell Wilson is a master surrealist painter currently active in the downtown artist
community in Los Angeles, CA. Over the last 10 years, his work has been shown regularly in Los
Angeles, New York and Seattle. This show represents his first solo show in the NorthWest in
over five years. “The Incendiary Journey” is a retrospective of his work, with pieces spanning 10 years
of creative output. “The Incendiary Journey” contains striking iconic images like his well known
version of the Hindu deity Ganesh, the titanic Altarpiece, pieces and prints from his current project
The Queen of the Box [part of which is currently on display at the Lawrence Asher Gallery in Los
Angeles ] and various smaller paintings and drawings.
