Rewards
Just earlier, my neighbour gave me a little white rosebush for sitting her cat over the weekend. It went with a really nice card as well! And all this for feeding her charming cat once a day and keeping her company for a bit. Unnecessary gift, but one gratefully received. It's the small things that make me really happy.
On that note, it's not such a small thing, but it makes me happy as well. Tiu's been in a great condition all day! Albeit she's still napping a lot, but she looks fitter and her eyes are wide open and not slightly shut and slanted as usual. I just hope this isn't one of the good days before it gets really awfull. No point in going there though, we're going to enjoy what we get.
Oh, that reminds me that I had a fantastic weekend as well. Worked my ass off for the archery club for 5 hours on saturday, but got treated to ice-cream and ingenious dinner in a vietnamese restaurant. On sunday morning, we went to have brunch on a hill in town. Once again a wonderful idea. For some reason though, we don't do such things often enough.
And now I should really finish this paper... :/
