02 - The weather forecasting on the screen [Voice]

[Kuro's voice is small and hesitant, maybe even a little bit scared. Only a few in Adstring have actually heard him use a voice anything like this since his arrival. For once, he actually sounds like the little lost child he is.]

[Guess the game is over, but Killua doesn't seem too upset about that. He just barely looks concerned.]

[He's gotten past the despair stage by now and is working his way toward anger.]

Even if Shirou does show up here, what's to stop him from disappearing again? I can't lose him again - I CAN'T.
[His voice gets deeper on the last word, more malevolent - it's almost as if someone else entirely is speaking.]

Well, duh! You think I don't know that?! Che. Most things around here are stupid. But you're stuck here, and I'm stuck here, and there's nothing we can do about it. So you just have to shut up and deal with it like everybody else.

[Harsh, yes. But the hint in the back of his voice that his pitch might raise any second now denotes his worries for the very same thing. He's just scared that if he thinks about it, he'll start to break down again. And he doesn't want this kid breaking down either.]

[He bristles, hiding his face in his arms. He's not crying, but it's pretty obvious he doesn't want anyone seeing his face right now - the fact that he doesn't think to simply turn off the video feed says that he's not really thinking at all, or is sorely distracted, perhaps by something in his own head.]

Don't yell at me. I never let anybody yell at me, and it's NOT HELPING.

In the end, dealing with it isn't up to me.

[Curled up in a tiny ball, hands clutches over his ears as if trying to block out some sound/voice. Judging by the way his fingernails are digging little red scores in his head, it's not doing any good.]

[He jerks suddenly, curls even tighter, and starts rocking back and forth.]

[A slightly hysterical giggle bubbles up before he can stop it, though he does a second later by clamping down hard on his bottom lip with his teeth. He stares bleerily at the PCD.]

[And he's off again, not quite sure what he's going to do when he gets there. But he doesn't like the sound of that laugh. It's way too familiar in a very bad way, and he's fairly sure he knows what it means. None of it is good.]

Heh. If you want. ^^ I'm not sure what all they'd do, but if you have something in mind, go for it. Killua's just going to keep an eye on him, to be honest; he figures if he's there, he can stop Kuro from hurting anyone if he goes nuts.

hee. neither am I, really. I just jump at the chance whenever. Only, I'd honestly like to see more interaction between them.

And, ahahaha, just a heads up, but if Kuro loses another CLOSE person (Killua, Akihiko, Beyond) any time soon he really WILL go on a killing spree. D:

They're fun together. It's kinda rare for Killua to really like someone, especially right away. He's only got two people like that in canon, and about the same number here.

Killua won't be going anywhere unless something bad happens to me. D: But I can say the same for Killua if Gon disappears.

It's sort of scary when, despite all their differences, you sit down and think about the similarities between Killua and Kuro. How they both form very dependent relationships, but usually won't admit to such.

Ahahaha, well the big warning is when he starts talking to inatimate objects like they're PEOPLE.
Poor Killua - Gon Killua BFFery is terribly epic for me.

Hopefully Kuro'd be around to knock him out with his pipe if that happened. Kuro has a sort of slow wind down kind of crazy. He gets more and more unrepentently violent as he goes, but he doesn't tend to GO MINOTAUR unless someone attacks whatever he's dubbed Shirou (or Killua, or Akihiko, or Alyx, or Beyond) at the time.
And then it takes someone he trusts to talk him down.
