Lord, I am not worthy to receive You, but only say the word and I shall be healed...
Your reasons for feeling so guilty are nothing short of irrational; I can't say I blame you, though, it being imposed upon you the way it's been for so many years...
But why do you have to continue to take it? You are worth so much more than you've ever given yourself credit for. It's something he'll never let you see, as long as it's in his power. You need to put your foot down and say "NO. I've let this control me for far too long. I've let him control me. And it has to stop." Of course, it wouldn't be the wisest decision to actually come out and say that. It needs to be an inner attitude. Love yourself. There's so much good that you're not seeing. Think of all of us who are pulling for you.
I know how hard it must sound. But I know you want to change; you told me so. You deserve more than this. You're angry about it--that means you know it's true! And you can do it. I believe in you.
Just...ask. I told you to ask me if you wanted my help. But you need more than my help--I can't give you everything. You need Him more. Ask. Let Him heal you. Just allow for the opportunity. Have faith in God, and have faith in yourself! You're more than capable of breaking through and beating this...you just need to try. Baby steps. You know you're more than he wants to think you are. Be who God made you to be.
And I'm still going to be here for you. Promise. Thank you for always being there for me, too. ♥
