You can't tell another person that they are the entire universe. That's silly, isn't it?

A rock isn't a rock, it's just as it is. You're not the entire universe, you're just as you are.

I never said that I can tell another person that they are the entire universe. I told you that you are the entire universe. There is no other person involved.

Well, I think you're wrong. I have my eyes, and I won't let you borrow them. I am my moment and no other. Not yours, not anybody elses; my moment.

My moment, meaningless to say at best, at worst horribly misleading because there is no other moment but this.

I need to read Dogen's "Time Being" (or is that "Being Time"?) again!:)

Too much of the time, I'm totally wasted lately. And no, I don't mean to nudge and wink that I drink! I mean, maybe I could be better spent, so far as being time goes. You got me thinking, so that's good.

My Grandfather had a plaque he kept on his dresser. It just said, "When you stop to think, don't forget to start again." I wonder whatever happened to it.

Okay, free-association session over! Hope I wasn't too annoying. I needed that!
