Trapped!
So I went to Ellensburg this weekend to visit Meagan. I had lots of fun hanging out with people and wandering around the town, though it was pretty cold.
I left Ellensburg at 3:30pm. It started snowing shortly after that. Traffic slowed down as we neared Snoqualmie Pass. We had to stop several times and wait for traffic to pick up again. Before I knew it, the bus was turning around and heading back to Ellensburg. The pass was closed. I spent some time freaking out a bit because I didn't want to be late for work on Monday (since it was only my third day).
We returned to Ellensburg at about 9:00pm. We all got out and got something to eat at the convenience store while the drive tried to find another driver to take us over Stevens Pass since he was required by law to rest for eight hours. At 9:30, the second driver came and agreed to try Stevens Pass. We all got on and we left by 10:00. I spent the next few hours fading in and out of sleep. We finally arrived in Seattle at 3:00am. I spent some time trying to chase down a taxi (my phone's battery was dead), and I finally got home at 3:30am. Just enough time to get four hours of sleep...
So, that's my fun story for this week!
