what exactly are you doing today? sitting at home, looking at livejournal, by the looks of things?
why not get down to sound&fury to see jack ladder (aka tim rogers, aka bass player from expatriate [not aka the dude from you am i, though]) and piano get small play for free?
it starts at about 3pm. it will go for somewhere between an hour and two hours. unless either of the artists are really, really enthusiastic and decide to do a keiji haino-styled four-hour set. which is unlikely, i'll admit, but might happen.
