It was only after she got home, with her brother and sister, she herself now 21, legally an adult in all respects.
It all just seemed to happen, it was on the news. The Daemons, Julia and Thomas, were both found dead in their apartment complex.
As far as the autopsy was concerned, it was a strange case of double aneurysms. Completely and totally undetected as far as any of the doctors could tell.
The police, investigators, were most suspicious of Dezario, the brother, and the largest. But no proof could be found that he did it. The charges were dropped.
With the will that was found in the safe, the eldest surviving member of the family was to aquire the fortune and company.
This was none other than Hecate Daemon.
At first, most of the board members were skeptical. Hecate proved her compitance in the business world by causing the Daemon Corperation to literally boom. She became, over a period of ten years, roughly one of the richest individuals in the world.
There were suspicions. Rumors.
