forget the bats in the belfry
9:35 PM 1/15/08 · So, I'm watching Batman Begins on FX and it got me to thinking. In the movie he uses a device to attract the bats in the area to come to him. However, in the comics both Batman & Nightwing, not to mention Huntress, BatGirl, and even some of the Birds of Prey, and maybe even Robin for all I know...
...they always seem to have bats around them as they go from rooftop to rooftop.
Granted, it's probably not surprising that Gotham has a lot of bats all over the place; it fits the gothic theme that is the city's trademark. Still, I wonder how Gotham's protectors attract them. Is it on purpose or does it just kinda work out that way?
