Limericks?

Because it is limerick day
At least, according to LJ
I think I shall write,
Give me prompts and I might -
A word or two with which to play.

I have no shame. Terrible rhymes are traditional for limericks, after all.

When intending on sugar to sup
Remember - don’t eat by the cup
A spoonful’s well known
To help medicine down
But too many will bring it back up.

Have a limerick. Alas, 'tis terrible, and probably needs several sequels in order to be slightly less utterly pointless - but 'tis a limerick, so that's alright :P

There once was a pirate named Duck
Who always was down on his luck.
He captured some sailors,
All miserable failures,
But his fortune continued to suck.
