I think Dom always was gutsy, he just needed the support and security of Billy to enable him to stand his ground and not back down. Dom is good with the babies, and it makes such a pretty picture too.

So it's Dom that's going to smack some sense into him. Good.

I love Dom's not so subtle verbal smackdowns don't you?

He might see the light, eventually, but I think at the moment it's just the train.

Go Dom!!!! *G* Excellent chapter; never thought about how the way his mom was treated would affect him, and I should have.

David's been the silent brother all the time I think. Billy folded in on himself, Craig loved anyone who would have him, David silently observed, never involving himself emotionally with anyone but his brothers. Sometimes I think that hurt him worse than the other two.

Great chapter. The images you painted of Dom and Lana were beautiful. I have such a soft spot for fathers and their kids, especially babies. Way to go having Dom try to talk some sense into David. I have to admit that I haven't read Cowboys & Geologists, because I'm not really a monabody fan but everytime you reference it I'm intrigued. Now for one thing that made me LOL - David, the super tough ex-special ops or whatever, has a degree in Victorian Literature and Textiles?! WOW! I know I shouldn't have laughed, but it was so very unexpected. I just got a couple of flashes of a super butch David knitting baby booties (Aww!) and lacing Orli into a corset (Ouch!). ;D

Orli in a corset? Damn, that's an image that's not going away any time soon.

You do know now I have an image in my head of Orli doing the Rocky Horror Sweet Transvestite song don't you?
