Letter Meme
10 of my favorite things that start with the letter "J"--graciously bestowed upon me by the lovely Aris as another method of procrastination.
J.K. Rowling! Fortunately my favorite author and I share first initials. We have her to thank for Harry, the boards, our acquaintance, and even Jay's lemontree! I also feel that I should include J.R.R. Tolkien in this same category, since the two of them together constitute my favorite fantastic books/movies.
Jingle Bells! Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year, and my aunt and I always attempt to sing the Barbara Streisand version of this song in its entirety--even though Babs hits crazy notes that we can never hope to reach.
Jack Frost! In keeping with my winter theme, which is my favorite time of year. I looove snow, fireplace, sledding, skiing/boarding...you get the idea.
Jumpers! Or at least, so the British call them. Who doesn't love a fluffy warm sweater?
Jokes! This one needs no elaboration.
Jack-o-Lanterns! I look forward to pumpkin carving every year, and I am happy to report that I am rather good at it.
Jane Eyre! by Charlotte Bronte. I just read it for class a few weeks back and it is now one of my all-time favorite novels. Go read it! It was part of the inspiration for "Rebecca."
Jewelry! Every girl needs a little sparkle. ; )
Journals! Not the LJ kind, but the journal where I practice my calligraphy and write down all the great quotes I come across in my reading.
And last but not least:
Joie de Vivre! Because life's too short to be anything but happy. =)
