Raise a Praise
Soccer season - making grown men cry since the 18th century.
I don't really want to get into a long discourse about my brief soccer career, nor how I feel about it, but watching the game last weekend was nostalgic and pretty sad. But, as I realized Friday night, there's no other place I would've rather been than at the Randle's with 20 other guys. The saddest part is that most of the people I played soccer with probably couldn't give a shit. Oh well... I guess it's always just been a sentimental subject for me.
Speaking of sentiment (and a nerd paragraph, be warned), I found an old FFIX file on my memory card. I can't really remember if it's mine or Vincent's, but it was like finding someone's old toys or something. It was before I went home for the weekend, and I was touched by ... something. As much as I complain about my brother, I sincerely enjoy seeing him. As far as video games sparking this type of emotion ... that's just what we do. We play video games.
On the school front, I'm pretty swamped this week. I have to write a paper tonight after orchestra. Shit fuck hell cunt. Reading is time consuming - I wasted my entire day trying to get through Boethius' Consolation of Philosophy. Half of it was in Latin... it shouldn't have taken that long. Really, I should've gotten some work done last night, but I didn't feel like it and went to sleep early.
And on that lackluster note, I'm off to dinner. Bleugh.
