Slow Hands
The Louvre is fabulous. It's so big. We spent hours in there and only saw a fraction of what it has to offer. I was really struck by how full it is. Even as big as it is, one gets the impression that they're still hurting for space.
I still need a few gift ideas... I've got one or two, so we'll see.
Bought a phone card yesterday. It was good to talk to Katie and mom again. Oh, how I miss them so. I've kind of resigned mysellf a little bit though. It's really fucking hard.
I watch a lot of MTV2, mostly because I don't get many chances to listen to Brit rock. Sometimes that's a bad thing,though, because... some of it sucks. But some doesn't, so I'll take my chances. They could play more Interpol. I suppose I could watch French TV, but I really have to concentrate to catch everything. There are a suprising amount of old English sitcoms that come on, and some of them are in English, mainly because it's weird to hear ER in French. I do get to watch Daria though.
I need more patience, I think. Ulysse annoys the shit out of me.
