There was a firefight!
Official: Boondock Saints is one of my alltime favorite movies. It has a great musical score to boot.
I wish I had more adventures growing up. I also wish that everything I owned wasn't broken, glitchy, half-assed, old, and afro-engineered. I did get my TV, truck, and mp3 player fixed (although I've lost the charger for the thing.)
I bought Modest Mouse's This is a Long Drive for Someone With Nothing to Think About On this album, they have a habit of going off on little instrumental tangents at the ends of songs, long after the vocals have stopped, causing me to sometimes forget what's actually going on. This album isn't as focused to refined as their later work, and I can definately see where someone (i.e. Katie) wouldn't like them, and why someone (i.e. John) would accuse them of "selling out" on their new album. I, for one, like both albums. I also bought the new Muse album, Absolution although I haven't listened to it yet.
Going to France Monday. Katie's gone to AllState now. *grumble* I'll probably update a lot in France, as way of chronicling my adventures, and as a way to let people keep up with me.
I finished Cider House Rules, and it was great, and now I'm starting Foucault's Pendulum by Umberto Eco, which is by no means light reading. I also have to read Collapse by something Diamond, for Sewanee. It's about why civilizations rise and fall. *grumble*
Finished Diablo for the second time and am now doing FFVII, again for the second time. I'm still itching to buy Diablo II, although it's a few years old, I may just borrow it. I also need to get some old cds from Shane, which... may or may not still be in his possesion.
