It took longer than I thought it would...
I'm pretty boned. A little too much spending here and there (and not enough consideration for my bills) has left me in a monstrous heap of trouble. I've got less than a buck in the old bank account. I've got about $650 worth of checks floating around for rent and bill payments that I can't even begin to predict will post to my account and I'm not sure how many of my recent debit card swipes are still waiting to be deducted. Come this Monday I'm going to be looking at hell.
In my favor, I have the $100 check that Mom sent me to help pay for my (wonderfully comfy) futon. And my direct deposit should go through without a hitch Tuesday night at midnight (technically Wednesday morning?). But I'm worried that the overdraft fees (any that may apply, at least) are going to eat up a ton of fundage. We'll see how it goes. With luck, my rent check won't be deposited by my ilustrious landlords for a while (i.e. the beginning of Feb.) and maybe, just maybe my bill checks will take a few more days to process. We'll see.
I'm really worried, despite the fact that I know within a few weeks time I should be able to easily pull through. This throws quite a wrench into my early '06 plans. Whatever happens, though, I have to accept a ton of responsibility for this mess and learn from it - even if everything works out in my favor.
