Korra feels and all...

So finding a decent download of Korra last night and this morning almost proved impossible. But I gave in last night at half one, after having worked from 12pm til 2am on friday, then 12 til 10 yesterday, I was kind of ready to crack and very much in need of some sleep time.

I also think that Amon about to equalize Korra is most likely going to push her into the Avatar state. But why do you think Bolin is going to lose his bending? Purely based on him being so purely comic-relief and the fluffiest member of new team Avatar? And why do you think Yakone is Amon, because he could overcome bloodbending by Tarrlok or for some other reason?

I hope that's how it happens anyway. Maybe she'll even airbend by the end of the book. :D

But why do you think Bolin is going to lose his bending?You know, I'm completely obsessed with when his v/a said that his character had a deeper/dark storyline and would learn that the world wasn't all all sunshine and rainbows. I mean, I could be completely wrong, but I do think something will happen to Bolin, it just seems strange he isn't featured a lot, because his role in the finale shows what happens? And the fact that we have that storyboard from book two with what looks to Korra and Mako in one of the Poles. I think/hope he'll have a good story arc in book two and become more than the comic relief sidekick with seriously bad timing. Don't get me wrong, I adore Bolin when he's done right, but like to go from really crushing on Korra to not even seeming too worried (as Mako was shown) over her kidnapped, it just irks me

Yeah, some character development for Bolin would be welcome.

But all the reasons you mentioned for Yakone seem to apply to both him and Ozai, for example, and imo with the same little result for age reasons. He should be at least 80 by now (Aang was 40 in the flashback, and Yakone was at least his peer, and the trial took place about 40 years ago), and he moves with too much agility for an old man=P

PS. I love your Kanda-Allen upic<3 DGM is all the love, and I think my upic list is sorely lacking in DGM cast. Need to remedy that soon:)

He's just going to waste and it disappoints me. And his jokes are always at such insensitive times. Like Sokka was comic relief, but he was charming with it and also had other uses. Grrrrrrrrr!

Like, I said, I'm not die-hard it is going to be him, it just seems iffy to me, but who knows. And wait, people think it could be Ozai? Like Yakone could technically be alive, but Ozai I assume to be dead for quite a number of years. Next it'll be Azula. Which would actually be awesome, I do hope we get to hear what became of her at some point.

I love DGM to pieces but it updates so badly and I'm not a fan of the way the art is drawn at the moment, she changes so frequently though and dammit, when do we get back to Lavi?

I love DGM too, and I wish it updated faster than once-in-a-half-year. Her drawing at the moment has strayed reeeeally far from former volumes. Like, Allen looks like a carbon copy of Alma at times now, but at least in his case the art shift can be attributed to 14th: everytime Allen gets possessed his hair starts curling and his face takes on a completely different expression (and his body posture, too). At least Kanda is unbearably pretty:))) Concerning Lavi I read somewhere that Hoshino's editor saw what she's got in store for Lavi and she was horrified. I wonder if it's going to be Kanda backstory-level heartbreak *musing* I miss Lavi and the potential he has for tragedy, because of his sunny facade and heartless job combination.

I didn't mind so much when it went to monthly, bit of a pain, but I can understand, but when it gets delayed and no more for another month again, I get a bit prickly. My favourite 'art' was the ark arc, it was all so pretty but I feel like it's gone back in progress with a lot of recent chapters, I'll always stick around for the story.

I know, I think she said she'd get back to him eventually too, after this latest arc, I guess, but we have to wait sooooo long and I miss Lavi. I secretly hope he's the heart because he isn't supposed to care and that would just be awful and horrifying and I'm sure way back in the beginning she said we would eventually get to find out about the deal with his eye and the eye patch. Come on backstory!
