It became trendy to make fun of Bush. You didn't see it in movies and commercials as much as you did on college tshirts and mtv- it's an adolescent fad. The flashiest anti-bush propaganda I saw was the result of my peers being sheep and doing what their friends did, after doing little or no research on the matter. I get irritated hearing my peers flaying Bush's name when I know they don't know anything about him, or the alternatives.
I myself don't support Bush, because I admittedly don't know enough about him or his policies, unlike my peers who I'm sure will be wearing anti-bush tshirts the day of the election so they can write about it in their livejournals and get pats on the back from their friends.
