Check out the random, inconsequential things I stress and worry over--
I'm obsessing a little over the Carnaval costume. I worked and worked on it, and will work on it some more tonight and tomorrow. An exotic bird. It's royal blue and bright orange, and I designed and constructed it in my little workshop on West Mary, aka my kitchen. I am a little stressed out because I want it to be perfect and to look like what I envisioned. I also worry about whether I will look good wearing it, but despite the obsessing, I'm loving it, the creative process of designing and sewing it. Sequins and feathers and metallic orange tinsel and beads and velvet all over my house, sketches and pictures of various ideas, glue guns and fabric glue and velcro--it's all a fun outlet for me. I hope it will turn out. Tomorrow night we will know! Yay for Carnaval!
