I'm in Lubbock, at the prestigous Rodeway Inn, which I scored for a mere $36 per night...
note to self: spring for the $50 per night hotel next time.
wish I had time to write more, but I have just six hours to capture my childhood with photos... I'll be back home tonight. I can't wait to tell you about meeting up with my old friend Cathy last night--hadn't seen her in twelve years; hadn't even talked with her on the phone in 12 years, but as soon as we started talking, it was as though there had been no gap in time...
