There should be a law.

It's a sad day in America when NPR devotes a segment to American Idol.

Everytime I get a glimpse of Ryan Seacrest, all I think about is that pre-teen game show he hosted way back when called Click. Remember? ...back when the Internet was still a novelty.

Of the two that were left though, I'm glad that Taylor won.

Elliot should have won though. :(

Which one is Elliot? All I know is that it boiled down to a girl and a boy, and the boy is Taylor.

Have all the previous winners made it big since the show? I'm clueless about all of that, but I'm curious. The only one I hear about sometimes is Kelly Clarkson.

Kelly: Top 40 rock and pop
Fantasia: R&B
Rueben: Gospel
Carrie: Country

Of course Kelly sales wise has done the best over all as she has the largest market segment there. Rueben prolly did the worst.

I imagine that Taylor will end up with a blues CD.

Elliot was the second runner up... he had the best talen vocally and was a semi good performer as well. He could be taught to be a steller performer though. I hope he ends up with a record contract after this.
