go to the sea
Awesome things that have happened over break, so far:
- Seeing Katee for the first time since this summer (wow I missed her), going to Lynn Run and taking some amazing pictures with her.
- Rediscovering my love for King Crimson.
- Our big family Christmas bash held at our house, in which we pushed the limit on how many people we can fit in here.
I forgot how I don't sleep as well when I'm at home. It takes me hours to fall asleep every night, I usually end up just giving up after an hour of laying in bed, getting up and reading or something. Then once I finally do get to sleep, I wake up all night, and have more dreams than I ever do when I'm in Pittsburgh. I love remembering my dreams because they're usually fairly freaking awesome, but I'd gladly trade them one night for a full night's sleep.
I'm just now starting to realize how much I'm probably going to loathe next semester, the shitty schedule I had to settle for, and most of my classes. My grades slipped a little this semester, and I'm worried that I'm getting to that point again where I'm bored with what I'm doing academically. Because if that happens, I don't get to switch schools again, or change my major. So, cross your fingers for my attention span.
