They'll name a city after us.

I'm updating this from my basement floor, because we haven't moved my desk home yet and I had to set up my computer somewhere. So go me.

It's weird being home, and I still need some time to adjust. Mom and I went swimming yesterday, and she unveiled her secret evil plan to possibly have me come with her for her triathlon, and do the half-mile swimming for her as part of a relay team. Then she would do the biking and running. I think I could do it if she decides that's what she wants to do, and it isn't for a month or two, so I have time. Also, we signed up for a 5k on Memorial Day through Idlewild, at freaking 8:30 am. That's going to be rough.

Tomorrow we're going back to Pittsburgh to get more stuff from my apartment. We're leaving all the furniture and big stuff, and renting a van sometime to get all of that. I might get my permit tomorrow too, or Friday. And of course I'm going to the registrar's office tomorrow to change my classes - hopefully none of them will close before I get there, because it took me forever to re-do my schedule.

I got Juno in the mail and watched it last night, so that made me happy. And mom and I watched Enchanted the night before. My sleeping patterns are really off, so I've been staying up late watching movies and really dumb TV shows. Then when I finally do go to bed, it takes me a couple hours to fall asleep because the mattress I'm used to sleeping on is infinitely more comfortable. I should start reading, or at least decide what I want to read this summer. But that will involve organizing my bookcase, which is literally overflowing.

I really need to call and cancel my internet for my apartment. And pay the bill.

OH! Grades. Compared to what I could have gotten, I did less than stellar. B+ in Anthropology, B in Germanic Myths (GAH!), B in Critical Reading (but I'm excited about that one), A in History of Jazz, and probably an A in Gothic Imagination, but it hasn't been posted yet. Hopefully things will go better next year.

My hair is way-super-curly today.

Okay, the agenda for today, I think, will be to finish unpacking and cleaning my room, followed by some bookcase-organizing, followed by some reading. And at some point in the near future, I need to write letters to my scholarship people and show them my grades. Woohoo.

grades, movies
