Affording anything in the Bay Area is tough these days. More and more I am coming to the realization that wherever I end up next, it is going to have to be somewhere else.

I'm starting to really wonder if I shouldn't think about moving elsewhere myself, but all my friends are here and I kind of like it here... :(

How's Japan, by the way? You're still there, right?

Yep, still in Japan! Just had sakura season here, which was really pretty. I had never been here for sakura season before! I'm enjoying it here still (except for the parts where I do work :-P ), although I admit, once in a while I miss the days when I could non-problematically understand everyone talking around me. ;-)

Ah, I was wondering if it was maybe sakura time over there--the trees on one of the streets nearby have kind of been blooming (I'm sure it's not the same). I can't imagine speaking a second language fluently, so I'm not sure what it would be living somewhere where you can understand people, but not as well as if they were speaking your native language--sounds tough! At least the food is probably fantastic :D

LOL, it's more that him and Alan are really adorkable together, and I could use an infusion of adorkableness. And I, like so many, miss Firefly. (Although I think it's probably too late to try and bring that back for anything more than another movie... which would be sad because it wouldn't have Wash in it, and I love Wash.)
