So today is my birthday, and what a nice day it's been. Nothing big, just little things. Like our having a $5 coupon for O'Charley's and getting free dessert. Like the waitress drawing a little happy sun and rainbow on my to-go cup. Like the aquatics class at the YMCA (which I had to drag dad to kicking and screaming, but that's okay). Like the deer I saw on the side of the road. Like the waxing gibbous moon I saw this afternoon. Like all the nice birthday wishes I got today.
Like the surprise bloody nose I just got... okay, not like that. But I'm not going to let a little blood ruin my day!
