where did the summer go?
it's really embarassing bumping into people this week, asking me what i've been up to all summer... i really don't know, besides folding down bras and selling panties at La Senza. two weeks at stampede. i don't really have much else to say! i guess i witnessed the birth of an alpaca or two... i'll use that to fatten up my LAME life. but hey, it only JUST started being nice out last week. finally 30 degrees instead of snowy/rainy...
did i mention i met ian's mom? first time in 4.5 years. it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be... it was actually kinda nice. tomorrow is kassandra's baby shower... she already had her baby. i am now a technically a great-aunt at the ripe old age of 23.
and i got my paycheck from stampede, a nice 1500. it's funny how five years ago when i got my $800 check i thought it was SO much money. now that's almost what i make in two weeks at La Senza. anyways, i went to the bank and opened an account to put $1000 in. i can't withdraw money from it without going into a branch. but i can deposit as much as i want into it from online. it's really sweet. i'm really happy. it might be for a trip to germany, or something good like that next summer. i'd like to put away as much as i can from each paycheck, learn to spend less and save up...
maybe enough for a down payment on a house someday? my dad will help with that too i hope...
well, i have one month left of summer!!! i really wanna make the most of it! being going to the pool/gym a lot. i love swimming.
OH i also smoked marijuana for the first time! it was so crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO CRAZY! :) it was fun!
