Well Whaddya know...
*dusts off LJ* Why hello there.
So what have I been up to lately? Nothing much really, I practically had my whole March off due to a faculty strike for my college(In which I still get off at the end of April, which is kick ass) and pretty much did nothing at home except play HaruToki 3 (Ok, I did much more than that, but that was the highlight of my "break") The game sure as hell revived my love for HaruToki. The drama, the angst, the darkness, the betrayal, the pretty boys! This is supposingly a love simluation game, but it feels like 11 tragic romances stuffed into a PS2 game. Okay, there are happy endings, but up until the final ending confession, it's pretty dark and...sad. I have probably cried at one point or another in the storyline of all the characters saved for one. What this game uniques in also is the fact that there are set route chapters for each character instead of the previous two games where you can practically aim for all the characters in one sitting and choose which character you want to end with at the end. In HaruToki, it doesn't exist, and each storyline gives you a piece of information about the general story that you don't know about while playing the other characters. The only way to know the entire story is to have cleared all the characters and piece all the stories together.
It's one hell of a game, but in Japanese and one would need to know how to read at least a little to be able to play the game because it's heavily text based. Which is why only a handful of people can fangirl this game with me. *Sad*
But I will still draw fanart for it and it will be sold in Anime North. People can't resist pretty boys now, heheheheh.
Speaking of Anime North, that's where I am heading in less than two months. I've been obsessing about it for like so long and it's almost here and I'm freaking out. I have like nothing to sell yet XD, but I did make a schedule for myself to get stuff done. Still in the first stage which is to practice my CGing and get rough ideas done for what I am going to sell so I can go on full blast creating mode when I get all my school work done (which is 1/3 done! After this week I can wipe another three projects off my list and then I'll be more than half done.) I do have a rough idea of what I am going to be selling though, minimal stuff of series I know nothing about (a bookmark or two), fanart for HaruToki, Tenipuri, Tales(definitely ones), RO, Angelique and Corda(maybe ones). I love it how except for Tenipuri, all of them are games (the roots of the series are anyways). Lots of original art because it's easy to do :D, I already know what I be doing. Since most of the fanart I'll be doing are males, the originals will probably mostly be females X). Overall, I want to get at least 12 pictures done for printing, 8 bookmarks and 20 chibi tag thingies. I want to make buttons too, but that depends on if I can find a place to do them at, which I am having little hope of. ;__;
And now I shall spam you all with my practices, which are mostly headshots or chibi pictures. And of Tomomori and Shirogane.
I find it amusing that I was too lazy to open my FTP program so I used my art diary to upload the pictures for me...hahaha.
And I found out something else! Things look reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaallllllllllyyyyyyyyyy ugly big.
