i realized i never actually watched the katrina hurricane relief telethon (aka the "george bush doesn't care about black people" telethon) clip of kanye west. so i did. and i almost peed my pants. i dont think they could have picked a more ignorant human being (kanye west) to talk about the situation. he could hardly form one coherent sentence throughout his entire rant. poor mike myers had absolutely no idea what to do. if that were me pictured side by side with him, i probably would have stared at my shoes the entire time. haha that is GOOD stuff.

my digital camera screen hasn't been working since march and my mom has been telling me to get it fixed before the warranty runs out. well... i waited and waited and now its a week before the warranty runs out. the cost is $111 to repair without it so thats pretty pointless... and of course its my fault because i didnt GET RIGHT ON IT! and get the damn thing repaired. i tried setting up the new digital camera my mom won at work so that i could take some pictures on the beach trip. well when she saw me doing that, she said absolutely not because i didnt make an effort to fix the other one (she already has her own camera so its not even a big deal, just a lesson i'm supposed to learn) so we got in a huge fight and it was decided that i have to scramble to get it postmarked sometime within the next 5 days. but then my mom dropped the camera on the floor and suddenly the screen worked. shes making me send it in anyway. now all i want to know is, what exactly constitutes an "act of God?"
i found out today i got charged an lot of money for overspending on my debit card. apparently vendors dont submit your purchase the second you made it, so i was spending money i thought i had only to find i didnt have it anymore because the gas i paid for two weeks ago is just now coming out of my account. the nice lady at suntrust (who sounded like she could be my grandmother) said that since we'd talked it over and i had obviously misunderstood, she would talk to another support member and get them to refund the money. i didnt get the full $111 back but they credited my account $64. so yay for Avis.
oh yeah. its finally ALMOST time for the beach. saturday cant come fast enough. hopefully three stories and entire beach is enough space to clear my head. i'm just trying to figure out why i waste my time caring about people who dont care about me while simultaneously neglecting the people who actually give a shit. what is that about?
