Silver Lake
I had the most confusing weekend. It was spent in Los Angeles. It involved eating too much fast food, taking a bus to UCLA to stay with Gal, buying good Spanish wine, hipster bars in Silver Lake, the Elliott Smith Figure 8 wall, too much melodrama, too much alcohol, and too many annoying brotherly outbursts.I pretty much need another break. The details will be spared but all I can sayz iz....San Francisco living is much more relaxing. I always eat healthier and spend more time sleeping. I am a hippie without the weed. But! This weekend should be good. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends, getting coffee with a certain someone, and seeing Persepolis with Leah.
I am also in love with my new laptop. I pretty much switched mine for my dad's. I can now take it to school because it's so compact AND! I have Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop now so I don't have to go to the computer lab at school to work on project. I R no longer a N00bz.
So! I'm going to the SF Outsidelands Festival!! I spent way too much money but I'm seeing Radiohead, Wilco, Beck, and Manu Chao in one sitting. It is the weekend of my birthday and I'm going by myself. It will be my birthday gift to myself. I don't want to even begin to say how much my ticket costs.
