{Fic} Self Revolution -- chapter one [Prompt table #016 Us]
Young Kazuya Kamenashi gazed in awe at the performance in front of him. He was currently watching a play with his parents. And, when the lead actor showed up, he couldn’t help it - he gasped. The man - Takizawa Hideaki was his name - moved gracefully and Kazuya could see a pair of white wings behind the lead actor.
White, translucent wings. Of course, Kazuya was the only one who could see those wings. After all, Kazuya has good eyes. That and every JE idol that had debuted had wings attached to their back. No, they were not angels. It’s just that Kazuya can see the wings, for some unknown reason.

Seven years later…
Riiiiing!
“Mm…”
A hand reached out under the covers to stop the annoying alarm clock. Kazuya Kamenashi sat up groggily and did his morning routine. Soon, he was out of the house and on his way to school.
As he was about to enter the school gates, two students passed by him. He looked up slowly to see one female and one male. One had long black hair while the other had shoulder length black hair, curled at the edges. Nevertheless, Kazuya stared at them.
And then he saw it. White wings. Like what he saw years ago. He was in awe at the size. And it seemed that both of them possessed wings. He struggled to catch up to the two but he tripped and, in the process, took the girl with long black hair with him.
Thud.
Kazuya gasped as he quickly stood up and helped the girl up. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean it and-!” He gaped at the features of the girl he had just bumped into. Almond shaped eyes, silky straight black hair, a pair of plump lips.
Kazuya gulped.
“Jin, you okay?” The guy asked.
“Mm…I’m fine, Tatsuya.”
Kazuya couldn’t believe it. Everything about the two was so perfect that he felt trash standing next to them. He surmised they were a couple since they look good together. ‘Tatsuya’, as ‘Jin’ had called him had a touch of feminine beauty. They were also both tall - like models!

Kazuya snapped out of his musings when he saw that he had dirtied Jin’s uniform. Out of impulse, he reached out and dusted some dirt on Jin’s skirt, only to have his hand stopped by Tatsuya.
“Mou, Tat-chan! It’s okay!”
Jin protested as he slowly untangled Tatsuya’s hand from the boy’s. He had blushed a bit earlier when he saw the boy reach out a hand intending to brush some dirt on his skirt. Thank God Tatsuya had stopped the boy before the boy came in contact with him. After all, he didn’t want to be touched there accidentally. That would blow up his cover!
“Hmph. Sorry about that…”
Tatsuya apologized to Kazuya and picked up Jin’s bag and handed it to him. He got a grateful smile in return.
“By the way…What’s your name?” Jin asked.
“Ah..! I’m Kamenashi Kazuya, a first year student.” Said boy bowed down a bit before returning to his position before.
“Nice meeting you Kamenashi. I’m Akanishi Jin and he’s Ueda Tatsuya, we’re second years.”
Jin introduced them both a smile while Tatsuya just stared blankly at Kazuya. Kazuya felt a little bit intimidated at the stare and he concluded it was because Jin, Tatsuya’s girlfriend was talking casually with a stranger.
Kazuya took a step back when the thought hit him.
“I-I must go now. Um…Nice meeting you both!” Kazuya bowed and proceeded to run the short distance to his classroom.
Jin and Tatsuya watched Kazuya run off before walking to their own respective classrooms. Students whispered amongst themselves as they saw the ‘couple’ walk together, as always.
“Ne, Tat-chan…Kazuya is interesting, isn’t he?”
Jin commented with a smirk and Tatsuya looked at him warily, trying to figure out what his friend was thinking of.

The day went by fast for Kazuya and he now found himself carrying a bucket of water with a bit of difficulty. He hated cleaning duties. Grumbling, he trudged forward slowly, bumping into somebody as he did so.
The bucket half-full of water was poured on the person and Kazuya wanted to bang his head for his stupidity. He looked up and gasped. It was the girl he had bumped into this morning!
“I-I’m so sorry, Jin-senpai…”
Kazuya stuttered as he helped Jin up quickly, looking at how drenched she was. Looking around, he sighed in relief. Good thing Jin’s boyfriend wasn’t around. He had the feeling he would be dead by now if that was the case.
“Ah…”
Jin muttered as he took in his drenched state. Gah! Even his wig was wet. Oh, how would he tell Tatsuya about this?
“Excuse me…I have a tracksuit that you can borrow…” Kazuya offered, and Jin smiled.
“Really? That would help a lot, thanks.”
They walked together to the locker room in silence, neither of them saying a word. When they arrived, Kazuya held out his tracksuit to Jin before going out of the room, blushing.
Meanwhile, Jin looked at the suit before undressing himself. The skirt was the first to go before the top, and then, the wig.

Outside, Kazuya was still mentally hitting himself for his stupidity. Not only had he dirtied the girl once, he dirtied the girl twice! He hoped that Jin’s boyfriend wouldn’t find out what happened.
He was silent for a moment before remembering something. He gasped, wrenched the door open and hastily said,
“I’m sorry if the tracksuit is small since…I…am…short….AH!”
Kazuya gaped from the doorway. Jin is man?! All this time, he thought Jin was a girl…And then, Kazuya gasped.
I actually thought she, no I mean, he was cute?!
Even though he now knows that Jin was a guy, he couldn’t help but find the man pretty. Jin’s hair was curled outwards and a bit messy, giving him a more boyish look. Hmmm? Kazuya saw wings! Not the big, white, wings that he saw earlier in the morning, but more like, those of a penguin’s flipper.
Wait!
“So…Jin-senpai…Mind telling me why you’re cross-dressing…? A hobby, maybe?”
Gasp.
“…No! I do it just because it’s orders.” Jin stated indignantly.
Sure, he dressed up as a girl, but it didn’t mean that he was willing! Kazuya could hear Jin mumble about how his boss was a bit sadistic and forces some of them to wear wigs and girl clothes.
Kazuya chuckled as he saw the picture Jin made; his cheeks flushed, his hair a bit messy, and his eyes wide.
“Orders?”
“Yes, orders from Johnny-san. He doesn’t want other people to know where we study so we have to wear a disguise.”
"GASP! You're both from Johnny's entertainment?!" Kazuya screeched, making Jin wince.
"Yes...Do you know of us?" Smirk.
"Nope."
...Sweatdrop.
“Eh? But wait, that other guy, Tatsuya…Why isn’t he in disguise?”
“He is. He wears a wig. It’s unfair if you ask me! Why do I get to wear a dress when he only gets to wear a wig?”
Kazuya laughed at that again and Jin couldn’t help that Kazuya’s laugh is nice. So, he too, started laughing.

A few days passed after that incident. Kazuya didn’t tell anyone about Jin’s secret and Jin was glad. Occasionally, when they meet by chance, they would wave or greet each other, making Kazuya’s friends wonder when he got to be friends with one of their upperclassmen.
Kazuya was still intimidated by Tatsuya and his creepy stared. But surprisingly, Tatsuya’s just acting like a big brother, Jin had once said. Since they were the only two from JE that studies there. So they have to look out for each other, Jin reasoned.
Once, Kazuya had asked why Tatsuya sometimes called Jin, ‘penguin’ since he had heard the other man call Jin ‘penguin’. It couldn’t be because Jin looked like a penguin. So…he asked. And he was thankful that Jin answered, despite the question being silly.
“That’s because…in JE, we have rankings….” Jin had answered, suddenly finding the floor interesting.
“Oh! What’s your ranking then?”
“…Penguin.”
“…Penguin? So that’s why your wings are…”
“Wings..?” Bewildered.
“Ah! No, it’s nothing!” So what I saw on that day was maybe Tatsuya’s wings?
“So…Anyway, the rankings are Peacock, Crow, and then there’s me, the Penguin. It’s considered the lowest.”
Kazuya was silent after that. Jin suddenly smiled brightly.
“But it’s okay! Someday…I would be one of the top talents that JE would be proud of! Someday…I would be one of those that shine brightly!”
Kazuya smiled at that.
“Un! I know you can do it, Jin!” Jin smiled.
“Thank you, Kazuya!” Kazuya blushed.
“Kazuya! Over here~!”
Kazuya snapped out of his flashback to see Jin waving at him. He smiled back and jogged up to meet him.
“I decided!” Jin said animatedly, making Kazuya laugh at the big smile Jin has on his face.
“You can be my manager!”
“EH?! W-what do you mean your manager?!” Kazuya squeaked.
“But…Kazuya is my closest friend here, aside from Tatsuya. And! You’re the only one who knows. Pleaaaase?”
Jin begged and Kazuya looked around them to see some students whispering and gossiping. He even heard one whisper to her friend, ‘Eh?! Look at that student, making Jin-chan make such a face…! I say that Ueda-san is better for Jin-chan!’
Kazuya sweatdropped before sighing. Why must these things happen to him?
“Fine, fine…I’ll be your manager…”
“Really?! Thank you Kazu!”
Jin then hugged him, and his cheeks felt suddenly hot. The girls around them continued whispering to each other. And then he caught sight of Tatsuya leaning by a tree with a smirk on his face, making Kazuya shudder. He was sure that Tatsuya was there in case he had rejected Jin’s offer. Good thing he agreed.
“Eh…?”
Kazuya whispered to himself as he saw Tatsuya’s wings. They were a bit bigger than Jin’s. Sort of like a crow. It suddenly hit him. Tatsuya was one of the crows in the talent agency ranking!
‘So wait…If Jin’s wings are that of a penguin’s, and Tatsuya possess the wings of a crow…Who was the one with the big, white wings then?’
Jin let go of him, making Kazuya jolt back to reality to see a big smile adorning Jin’s face.
“So…Let’s go, Kazu, Tatsuya!” Jin exclaimed, calling out to Tatsuya, making him follow Jin and Kazuya.
“Err…Where are we going…?”
“To the Jimusho!” Jin whispered excitedly to Kazuya, his eyes shining.
“EH?!”
