So everyone on livejournal has facebook ... but I'll give a quick entry anyway.
I'm in London! All unpacked. Registration/Orientation finished. Classes start on Tuesday!
They say that getting jobs is quite crazy. Schools like to see extracurriculars as well as good school reports. Therefore, I intend to try to keep up wrestling (maybe competing won't be able to fit into my schedule, but I'll try), coaching at my placement schools, BEd student council to some degree, and I've also contacted Big Sisters of London to volunteer in their In-School Mentor program or their Go Girls! program.
That's it for now, until I figure out just how much spare time I have.
I'm applying to jobs this weekend. I've ditched the idea of serving as I don't want to work crazy night hours. I'll apply to retail around the area instead. My practicum placements will screw up my weekday availability, too, so I need somewhere flexible.
I have GYM class. Like, "bring your gym clothes" gym class!
I also have MUSIC. I have to buy a recorder, learn how to play it, and play infront of the class! *hahaha*
