(no subject)
I got a job at a Dollar Store. It was the most brain-draining job ever. The owner is a 'tard who doesn't know the Labour Law and never smiles or talks. My training took about 20 seconds. After two shifts, I was going to quit - but I got fired! Apparently the owner used the excuse that I "don't smile" to fire me ... but he hates how I am a better employee and actually know the labour law (ie: 6 hour shifts have a choise of 1/2 hour unpaid or 2 paid 15's). It saved me from the awkward picking up the paycheque after never showing up again...
Broadway has been good. I've been scheduled for all the the Snes playoff games - which can make for long nights, but they're easy nights. The manager gave me Sunday off because Alex is home for the weekend, so that's really cool.
I have my resume in at a placement agency. I applied for government employment clearance. Good paying jobs, but no promises.
I have also been applying to day cares, preschools, and summer camps.
If I don't hear anything by next weekend, I'll apply to "lesser" jobs in retail or whatever.

The last Sparks meeting was last night. All the parents came and we had our advancement (to Brownies) ceremony. Some of the girls had made us thank-you cards, gave us gift certificates, and flowers. It was really cute. I'll probably do it again when Kayla joins Sparks.

We are probably selling the house. Splitting. I'll probably move in with my grandparents while the house is being shown.
