I officially got rejected from Brock today. The letter says that although I meet the minimum requirements, I will not be given an offer. It also says that due to the "more qualified applicants," they do not foresee me given a second-round offer.
So next year, I'm going to The University of Western Ontario for a BEd in the Junior/Intermediate Stream (grades 4-10).
PROS:
- better school reputation
- better women's wrestling team
- about 7 hours from Ottawa, 2 from St. Catharines
CONS:
- I'll have to work a bit harder to find a place to live, look online and go a few times in July-ish to seek out a place.
- it's not Brock and it'll be yet another year of a long-distance relationship
