St. Mark did well on Tuesday. Out of ... I think 6 to 8 wrestlers who qualified for City Championships, we're sending 3 to OFSAA. Should have been 2 or 3 more, but injuries (etc) screwed us. Hey, I'm happy with three! (2 girls and a guy). Since I'm 22, I am able to be a legal female chaparrone, too!
I'm in St. Catharines right now. I took the midnight bus on Wednesday morning. We didn't do much yesterday: slept, watched movies, went to the Pen Center (they have an H&M). Right now, Alex is at wrestling practice - training for CIS Championships next weekend (this past weekend, he won OUAs). Tomorrow, we're planning on going to Toronto: CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, Eaton Centre. I have my camera, so pictures to be posted when I get home.
So next week, I have a Roman History midterm on Tuesday. I leave Wednesday for OFSAA and return Friday night. I have a midterm on Saturday for Oceanography.
March is a ridiculous month for homework. Right now, I am working on my seminar for African-American Studies on Hotel Rwanda. I bought the movie and have watched the two documentaries and am now 1/2-way through the commentary-filled version. There is so much I could talk about this subject, but I have started researching on the systematic racialization between the tribes and how the White World is to blame for the genocide.
Alex has proposed ... (haha) ... that I live at his place for the summer and work here in the summertime. A definite possibility if I get into Teacher's College at Brock.
