Pondering in a puddle

I'm thinking about writing a book about someone who is very special to me, but he doesn't even know my name. He's never seen me before, and he probably never will. I'm pretty sure I'll be okay if we never meet, because I already know plenty about him. Not just because I've read the books and done the research, but because he's not very different from me. His name is Brian Warner, and he hides behind a tall thin man with long black hair. He hides behind this man because he feels safe, and feared, and admired, but hated as well. Shock rock is the name of the game, and the face he hides behind:

Marilyn Manson.

Brian Warner feels like he died many years ago, and was reborn as his tall thin friend, but he wasn't. He is still hiding there somewhere, and I want people to feel about him the way that I do. He's a very very intelligent man with a hateful past and a message to tell us all. Whether you listen to the message is up to you. I'm not condoning his drugs and his sodomy, but I am condoning his music and his message. I am one of those nobodies that he has sung about. "We're the nobodies, wanna be somebodies, we're dead, we know just who we are."

The title of the work waiting to happen: "What Happened to Marilyn Manson, and Other Opinions of a Nobody."
