To my Friend

after talk to Alexander...

--To Alexander

Counting the vague whispers upon the ear.
Calling the nameless emotion evoked
A keeping clock stands still as dark in which you fear
As a flickering candles light is cloaked

The deep longing for a space-a space of ones own
A minds-place to which you will create
An imaginary castle and in the depths a throne
To think that in your wondering thoughts of Fate.

Ode to you, the sleepless wonder of the night
Of Banquo line you raise a knight yet keep in
Mind this goes with a long and heated fight.
Let’s do away with the old and bring upon
The new. A new year, a new place, yet you
My friend, have stayed the same for to long.
I’m calling in the only voice that I know how
To forget, the old and start anew.
My vestal virgin, I do not ask of you to go
Against any mortal sin. But to make a friend
And forgot the past, even if that means you
Have to disregard this poet, who speaks to
You so bluntly.
